MARKETING DOES NOT HAVE TO COST MONEY!
In fact, most of the Relationship Marketing that I do in my business and that I teach my coaching clients is of no cost to you. Many small business owners however believe proper marketing has to cost money so they just don’t even pay attention to do figuring out what to do.
Many small business owners also aren’t sure what to do for marketing or are confused, hearing so many options via free teleclasses, webinars, speakers and the Internet. You could literally learn just about anything you want these days online but that doesn’t mean you know what to do with that information or how to put those things in order of importance to help you market and grow YOUR business!
Instead of sitting in that boat of unsure or overwhelm, it’s time to learn some revenue generating activities that you can do every single day to see bigger monetary results.
Marketing is lead generating activities that bring in the prospects so that you can sell them into your products, programs and services. You won’t be selling a whole lot this year without diligently implementing these marketing and revenue producing activities. Many of them you will want to take on yourself but others you can delegate to a team member in order to reach a much broader or larger number of prospects.
In fact, a quick goal I always give my clients is to reach out to and connect with a minimum of 1000 new potential prospects or referral sources every single month. This can be done in various ways but if you’re only reaching out to a few dozen or couple hundred, more than likely you will not hit your goals.
Here are 3 QUICK Revenue Producing Activities you can do every single day to keep a consistent flow of leads coming into your business!
- Send a personal message to 50 people you don’t know yet on Facebook or LinkedIn with the goal of moving the connection to the telephone for relationship building and to see if or how you can help each other. Do NOT sell in this message or promote anything. But do put your full contact information in the body. If you do this correctly you should see 20-30% response. I consider this online networking and similar to what I would do if I met someone new at a networking event in person.
- Make 10 follow up phone calls to connect with people in your database, previous clients for referrals or upsells, prospects for new business, people you just met and more. Have a goal to schedule a get-to-know-ya call as well as you never know, they could become a very good prospect or referral source.
- Write a quick, ‘how to’ blog post, article for your blog, or record a quick tip on video. Get that information out via your email newsletter, your blog, social media sites, YouTube and even other article marketing websites who could possibly run your information for free.
These three things are all FREE marketing strategies that you can do today even if you do not have a business yet or a website.
