I’m sharing tips today about how to do quick video tips for your business. They can be like the Video Biz Tips I share with you. Or your videos can be another income stream for you.

There are so many people in business who are NOT doing video yet and I’m urging you to get started NOW! It’s past time for you to embrace video. This post is definitely for you.

If you are already doing video in your business, these video biz tips may still be helpful to you because as you know, it’s not always easy to come up with things to talk about.

First of all, you need to get past the notion that you have to wait until you have everything in place and it’s just right. You can video, off the cuff. I regularly get many revenue producing ideas for myself, my clients, and my mastermind members. And, just the other day, I did a video to share some of the ideas I had while in the shower.

Video can be used to share info and tips. It can also be used as a revenue producing resource. If there is something you know or know how to do and you can teach others, why not record it on video and create a program or online course.

Video is an AMAZING resource. It’s free to use for marketing purposes – well it is right now.

Today I want to talk about maximizing free gifts you offer in your business.  This is a great way to generate leads both online and at events.

I’m talking about when you go to someone’s website and see an opt-in box where you are offered a free audio, video, webinar, a drawing, free report or download to entice you to sign up for their newsletter. If you are online, you need to offer this. And, your website needs to have the functionality to display the opt-in box, you’ll need a way to deliver your gift automatically via email or on your website.

You also need to have a free gift to offer when you are at a networking event. I’ve just returned from an exciting networking event and was surprised that many of the people there didn’t have a call to action at the end of their 30 second commercial to entice people to give them their business card (and permission to put them on their email list).

If you have the type of business where most people will not hire you on the spot, you need to be prepared to offer a freebie so people can experience you or your products/services and to interact with you. This is the start of the KNOW, LIKE, and TRUST relationships you want to build.

Here are some examples of a free offer:

  • A free consultation
  • A recording of one of your teleclasses or seminars
  • A video of you giving your Signature Speech or Talk
  • An Article
  • A checklist

And for you network marketers out there who have products to sell but not services, you can do a drawing.

Now if you are at networking or live events, there are 3 ways you can get more exposure for your business and generate leads with your free offer:

  • As an exhibitor
  • As an Attendee
  • As a Speaker

I want to talk to you today about YOU – The truth about you and your message! The YOU behind the mask – the REAL YOU!

are you telling the truth about your messageI’ve talked to several people recently about speaking in their business, writing a book and doing a lot of other fun things to get more exposure, more visibility so they can grow their business and make more money. Many of these people shared BIG concerns about being vulnerable, being transparent, about sharing their story.

Most of them really didn’t know the key insight, lesson or message they have to share. They are not sure what their worth was and what their story means to other people.

If this sounds like you, I want to encourage to you STOP! Just stop for a second – stop and think about what your story is! Many times we are just too busy to see what’s right in front of us – to see what’s missing in our business, in our energy, in the way we comes across to others whether online or in person.

I can relate to this because I had similar issues in the past. But once I learned how to just be ME and be transparent in both my business and personal life, it was a time of huge growth for me. I made more money and acquired clients that were more suited to me and what I do. I’ve found that sharing more about myself, my life, and experiences has translated into finding more clients who are the people I’m meant to work with. Wouldn’t you like those kind of clients too?

Today I’m super excited to give you another Video Biz Tip – it’s all about plotting out your Marketing Calendar!

Are you an entrepreneur who is not sure what you should be doing every month or every week? This post and the video below is a snapshot for those of you who are not sure how you should be spending your time or if you are outside of your office and in front of others enough to promote yourself and your business. This is one of the topics we cover in my Live Big Mastermind and at my Live Events, like we just did at my “Jumpstart Your Biz in a Weekend” event a few days ago, see the example in the video. Just remember to plot your marketing calendar and BE CONSISTENT! Consistency is the KEY in a good marketing strategy.

What about Networking? What events did you have planned for the month? And are you calendaring your Follow-Up after the networking events? If not, you need to start doing that. There’s profit in your follow-up. If you don’t know what to do, I have a system of techniques, templates, and scripts – everything you need to create your own Follow Up system that WORKS!

host your own eventHosting your own event will give you extra credibility, exposure and cash flow!! But you want to learn how to launch them the right way and most affordably based on where YOU are in your business, not where the person is at that’s teaching you.

Now I’m not trying to instill fear to keep you from hosting your own event.  There are so many affordable ways to host an event!

When I first started hosting events, I didn’t have a resource to guide me or to field my questions.  I usually provide this type of coaching for only my high end clients or in my mastermind. I’m sharing some tips in the video below because I see so many entrepreneurs jumping into situations related to hosting events that will ultimately cost them a lot of money.

Here are some things to think about when hosting your own live event:

  • What do you want to sell AT the event because you won’t make your money from ticket sales?
  • How many is the minimum that you want in attendance – plan your budget for that?
  • Will you have other speakers to add to the roster and will you allow them to sell stuff?
  • Where can you hold it where it won’t cost you an arm and a leg?
  • What can you teach that isn’t too much info so they leave wanting more?
  • What else do you need for the event to be successful?
  • What do you negotiate in a contract if you’re using a hotel or venue with one?
  • Maybe it’s time to get a mentor who can help you sort through all of this so you can maximize and monetize your time and exposure!?!?!?
